PRIVATE LAUNCESTON WORKSHOP: SUNDAY AUGUST 6, 1-3PM

$50.00

Come and learn the addictive art of basket coiling and crochet to repurpose old fabrics & yarns into beautiful textural vessels for use as vases or plant holders. These wonderful vessels also make great gifts- if you can bear to part with your creation!

This course is designed to use up old fabric scraps destined for landfill: that favourite tshirt that's no longer wearable, a piece of sentimental clothing your child has outgrown, a favourite pillowcases inherited from gran! Caroline will show you how to make yarn from old fabric & how to shape your basket using a combination of basket coiling & crochet.

Bring along old clothing, bed linen or fabric scraps & fibres for use in your basket. Caroline will also supply a variety of other fabrics and yarns to use!

The workshop runs for two hours & is suitable for beginner & intermediate crafters.
NB. This is a private, invite-only workshop! Please sign-up only if you have been invited.
